An Easter morning morel...

Two-year-old Brooklyn Ikemire enjoyed some time with her father Sterling and uncle Rob on Easter morning and picked her first morel. Rob Ikemire of Chillicothe said his niece Brooklyn was excited to go mushroom hunting, but then headed home to hunt Easter eggs. Rob Ikemire said on Friday he found over 400 morels under one tree in some area timber weighing in at over six pounds. Ikemire said it is the best morel season in the Chillicothe area that he has seen since 1989.
